Jacqueline Lara

Jacqueline Lara brings 10 years of marketing and communications experience to nonprofits, women entrepreneurs, small businesses, and artists whose work fosters general goodwill and inspires action. Whether clients are looking to drive event registration, raise money, or shift attitudes and behavior, Jacqueline pulls from a strong foundation of strategic thinking, and her ability to tell their stories across multiple media platforms to reach audiences both online and offline. In 2010, Jacqueline leapt into entrepreneurship full-time to launch Mpact PR, LLC, and has been the project lead on local and national campaigns as well as international initiatives. Her distinctive approach has resulted in placements in media outlets throughout the Washington, D.C. region, as well as national and trade publications including, but not limited to: Wall Street Journal, NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Washington Post, Salon.com, CNN.com International, ESSENCE, Black Enterprise, and Success Magazine. Jacqueline has a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Organizations from the University of Maryland. She resides in Silver Spring, MD with her husband and two sons.
