Commemorates 100th Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote ANNAPOLIS, MD, December 12, 2019—Governor Larry Hogan has proclaimed 2020 as the Year of the Woman in Maryland as the state prepares to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
