Veteran Boots to Business Program

Boots to Business Image

Boots to Business LogoBoots to Business is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP).  The program helps members of America’s armed forces who are transitioning to civilian life by giving them tools to start their own successful companies.  As a Women’s Business Center Resource Partner, our Sr. Business Counselor Angie Duncanson teaches Boots to Business workshops quarterly at Andrews Airforce Base.

“It constantly amazes me that I am a former US Marine. What an awesome adventure and experience that has been! And, now to think that I am serving military personnel and families that will be transitioning from service to civilian life by teaching the SBA entrepreneurial program, Boots to Business is unbelievable and glorious.” ~Sr. Business Counselor, Angie Duncanson
