MWBC’s Annual Awards Luncheon

Every day, women entrepreneurs are working to grow their small businesses, create jobs, drive innovation, and increase America’s global competitiveness. Although they start businesses at more than twice the rate of men, there are still a host of challenges that make growth an uphill battle. At our annual awards luncheon, The Maryland Women’s Business Center (MWBC) would like to highlight women entrepreneurs who have persevered to achieve success, while thanking our volunteers and sponsors that help make this all possible. Reserve your seat and register for our event here.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, President & CEO of Global Policy Solutions.  As a social entrepreneur, she is an expert on income security and women’s issues. She has appeared on NPR, CNN, Black Entertainment Television, ABC World News Tonight and has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today and other national publications.
