About the StartRight Business Plan Competition

Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) and the Maryland Women’s Business Center (MWBC) are looking for Maryland’s most promising woman-owned companies.

Now in its thirteenth year, the StartRight! Business Plan Competition for Women Entrepreneurs is REDI and MWBC’s annual search for up-and-coming businesses run by women in Maryland. Over the past two months, officials have whittled the competitors down to 10 finalists, who are now vying to win the $5,000 grand prize.
