Topics addressed include: \n\nWriting a business plan\nFunding your business\nLegal considerations\nRegistering your business in Maryland\nObtaining your federal tax ID\nForming a B.A.I.L. team\nManaging risk\nMarketing your business\n\nIntended Audience: Pre-Venture \nSteps to Start Your Business is the second workshop in our “Plan and Start Your Business” series. It is recommended that you take workshops in the following order: \n\nIntroduction to Entrepreneurship and MWBC\nSteps to Start Your Business\nDevelop Your Business Plan\nMarket Your Business on a Budget\n\n  \nHeath Update: In light of recent health-related outbreaks\, MWBC has temporarily revised our refund policy. If you are feeling ill\, please refrain from attending an in-person workshop.
