DESCRIPTION:WEgrow Maryland (Women Entrepreneurs Grow Maryland)\, sponsored by CapitalOne\, helps competitively position female entrepreneurs for success as they scale their companies into the growth phase of their business life-cycle. The focus of the series is on leadership\, longer-term strategic planning and the identity shift from entrepreneur/startup to powerful\, successful CEO of a company with a growth mindset. It provides exposure to leadership best practices and operational business guidance that can be immediately implemented in the workplace and position a company for next-level growth. \nApplicants and their companies must meet the following criteria: \n\nBe a female business entrepreneur who owns\, operates\, or holds a C-level position and directly influences the organization’s strategic decisions;\nEarn an annual revenue between $150k-$500k;\nDesire to grow or sell business;\nStaff at least one employee in addition to the owner;\nCommit to attending all six sessions (two full-day sessions & four morning sessions) in Rockville or Bowie\, MD\, for approximately 40 hours of combined classroom and pre-work/homework time; and\nBe based in Washington\, D.C. metro area\, with priority given to MD-based businesses.\n\nTo start the application process\, please take our survey.

During this workshop we’ll take a step back to reflect on the foundation of your business. You will review your business plan\, reflect on your strengths\, and determine where to outsource your areas of vulnerability. \nIntended audience: Growth \nAbout Our Facilitator: Kay Mesia is a small business coach and former Executive Vice President for a Fortune 10 company. Her past roles include audit and compliance\, enterprise risk management\, mentoring\, and training. \n  \nNote Our Policies: Refunds or comps are available for classes cancelled by MWBC. All other refunds are not provided. MWBC only accepts credit card payments for training sessions. Attendees will not be permitted to enter the classroom until payment is received.
