The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce hosted an incredible S.H.E. Week during August 22-26, with the announcement and recognition of the 2022 S.H.E. Pitch competition winners and this year’s SHEROs.
S.H.E. Pitch, now in its second year, is a pitch competition for female entrepreneurs designed to give businesses both in the “idea stage” and “growth stage” cash prizes, non-monetary prizes, publicity, networking opportunities, and more. As a partner, and the sponsor of the inaugural “She’s Rising” Award, MWBC is thrilled to announce and celebrate the finalists in this year’s S.H.E. Pitch competition! These passionate women business owners competed in front of a panel of judges and live audience on August 24th as part of the S.H.E. Week celebration.

The SHERO Awards celebrate and shine a light on women who are triumphing over adversity, demonstrating extraordinary care for others or leading change in the Frederick County community. The SHERO Awards are divided into three categories – strength, heart and equality and are nominated by members of the Frederick community.
