Free Government Procurement Series Webinar #1: Finding Federal Contract Opportunities

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought much uncertainty to the market and successful businesses are pivoting their offerings to grow their business. If your business is interested in entering into the federal government contracting market, we invite you to participate in MWBC’s free 2020 Federal Government Contracting Series brought to you by OST Global Solutions and Fedmine.us.

During this webinar we’ll examine ways that you can find out about federal government contract opportunities. We’ll provide a high-level overview of:

  • beta.SAM.gov – The official centralized U.S. government website for contract opportunities.
  • GSA Schedules – The resource to find long-term governmentwide contracts with commercial companies that provide access to millions of commercial products and services at fair and reasonable prices to the government.
  • Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization – The dedicated office within many federal agencies to help small businesses search and compete for contract opportunities within the agency.

We’ll then explore how to use Fedmine.us, a business intelligence tool for government contracts. You’ll learn how to win more by empowering faster, smarter business development solutions.

This is session #1 in our four-part procurement series but can be taken as a stand-alone session.

*Intended audience: All workshops in this procurement series are designed for established businesses that are positioned to take on government work currently or in the next three-to-six months. If you haven’t started a business yet, or your company currently lacks the infrastructure to support a government contract win, we recommend that you do not sign up for this workshop.

About our Presenter:  Archisha Mehan, Vice President of Business Development for Fedmine.us, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of diversified experience in Business Management, Strategy and Finance.   At Fedmine she helps execute the company’s growth plans by bringing on new clientele and engaging with our partners and government agency clients, focused on providing superior federal business intelligence. Deeply rooted in the business and federal community Archisha is an Advisory Board Member at the Maryland Women’s Business Center, Co-Chair of Programming and Training for AFCEA’s small business committee and is a loan committee member for SBA 504 loans at the Business Finance Group. Archisha has her MBA in Finance from The University of Stirling, Scotland and her Undergraduate in Finance and Accounting from the University of Mumbai.
