How to Win Seed Funds – SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab Training Opportunity

December 4, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Learn to write a winning proposal!

Maryland Small Businesses with Innovative Ideas Can Apply Online from October to December 2020, Spaces Are Limited!

The program is open to all Maryland small businesses, but special focus for women-owned, socioeconomically disadvantaged, or rural small businesses.

What is an SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab? SBIR Proposal Lab helps you complete your Phase I SBIR/STTR proposal to the NSF, or another agency, through hands-on training, expert reviews, and guidance.

What is SBIR/STTR Funding? It is America’s Seed Fund that awards up to $256,000 in Phase I to prove your innovative idea and makes you eligible to apply for Phase II funding up to $1 million.

What is the Timeframe? We will select a cohort limited to 25 participants. The cohort runs through a series of 6 workshops and 2 expert reviews from Jan through June 2021 to help you develop and submit your proposal.

What is the Cost? The Lab is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the SBA so the SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab cost is only $600.
