On August 8, 2023, The Frederick News-Post released an article entitled “Business community prepares for S.H.E. Week, pitch competition” that featured Maryland Women’s Business Center. Once again, MWBC is the sponsor of the “She’s Rising” award, a type of ‘most improved’ award, during the annual S.H.E. (Strength, Heart and Equality) Pitch competition. The She’s Rising award winner receives a $500 prize.
