Tara Cassidy earned her Master of Arts degree in Health and Wellness Coaching with dual concentrations in nutrition and integrative studies from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) through the National Board of Medical Examiners. Ms. Cassidy is passionate about empowering her clients to own their good health habits to avoid a life of chronic illness and steep medical bills through lifestyle change. She works with her clients to adopt a wellness mindset by fostering behavioral and lifestyle changes in small, manageable steps. She incorporates the latest in behavior change principles including positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and a touch of humor, as she understands where a client is within the stages of change and how this affects the outcome of their anticipated goals. Several of Ms. Cassidy’s most recent offerings include 1:1 coaching; workshops on habit change focusing on the pillars of health including sleep, stress, nutrition, and movement; New Year’s Day Reflections & Intentions mini-retreat; Mindful Eating drop-in class and co-facilitating weekly mindful dialogue groups after both Tara Brach & Jonathan Foust’s meditation classes.
