[Evening Workshop] Bookkeeping Fundamentals: Organizational Compliance – Montgomery County

Do you find bookkeeping confusing and time consuming? Are you unsure about which laws apply to your small business when it comes to hiring contractors or determining a wage/salary? Understanding the financial aspects and compliance components of your business is critical to its success. This workshop will address the basics of bookkeeping and business compliance, addressing concepts such as:
- Banking basics
- Organizing receipts
- Invoicing
- Cash flow basics
- Fundamental business laws
Please note that this workshop is designed for the bookkeeping novice and will address the basics of bookkeeping and business compliance. Advanced topics such as Quickbooks and payroll will not be discussed during this workshop.
Attendees at this workshop are invited to the MWBC office on Friday, Nov. 15 from 4:00 to 5:30pm to meet with the presenter and ask questions regarding bookkeeping. This is on a first come, first serve basis and you do not need to sign up in advance.
*Note that this option is only available to individuals who pay for AND attend the Bookkeeping Fundamentals: Organizational Compliance workshop on Nov. 12 and/or the Bookkeeping Fundamentals: Utilizing QuickBooks workshop on Nov. 13.

About our speaker: Ana Lucia Vieira has an MBA from UMUC and undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University – Hawaii. She is the founder & one of the owners of Elite Commercial Cleaning L.L.C. She also works at Westat as Tax Specialist and has over 14 years of experience in Payroll & accounting. She is a member of American Payroll Association.
Note Our Policies: Refunds or comps are available for classes cancelled by MWBC. All other refunds are not provided. MWBC only accepts credit card payments for training sessions. Attendees will not be permitted to enter the classroom until payment is received. Walks-in registrations are accepted only at the Montgomery County location. Register early to guarantee a seat.
