Why does a small business need media relations? A formal media relations strategy for your company or organization is the path to “earned media” coverage that you don’t pay for. It is distinct from paid media or advertising and can be a great third-party endorsement. This hands-on session will teach you to identify a news hook, write a press release that piques a reporter’s interest, get media to show up at your event, and how to use earned media for valuable third-party endorsements and more.
