Networking Event: Meet Your Legislators – Montgomery County

The City of Gaithersburg Office of Economic Development, City of Rockville, and the Maryland Women’s Business Center invite you to attend a training and networking event with Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and other local legislators on September 19 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg.
The event starts with a roundtable discussion facilitated by local legislative experts who will provide guidance on how to craft your ask and share best practices on working with legislators to advocate for your business needs.
As a female business owner, this is your opportunity to share your message about your business successes, needs and concerns while advocating for increased funding and support of women-owned small businesses in the cities of Gaithersburg and Rockville, Montgomery County ,and within the state of Maryland.
Agenda:
- 5:30-6:10: Roundtable discussion
- 6:10-6:30: Remarks from Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and other local legislators
- 6:30-7:30: Networking reception
