During this dynamic and interactive workshop, discover how to navigate the government contract market, identify valid prospects, and craft a winning proposal. The session begins with a moderated panel that will share insight into government purchasing trends, business intelligence resources, and targeted market segments.
The panel will be moderated by Ben Simmons, President/CEO of Business Development Strategies LLC.
Panelists include:
- Maria Asuelimen, Managing Partners at AMA Consulting discussing the vendor perspective working with the federal government
- Representative from the Montgomery County Office of Procurement
- Helga Weschke, Director of Federal Business Relations at the Maryland Department of Commerce
- Archisha Mehan, Vice President of Business Development at Fedmine, a federal contracting business intelligence platform founder
The second half of the workshop, led by Ben Simmons, addresses key components of a winning proposal. You’ll learn how to conduct a solicitation review, competitively price your goods or services, craft win themes based on the buyer’s values, and prepare a technical proposal.
This is session #1 in our five-part procurement series but can be taken as a stand-alone session.
Intended audience: Growth – All workshops in this procurement series are designed for established businesses that are positioned to take on government work currently or in the next three-to-six months. If you are not familiar with contracting basics, or your company currently lacks the infrastructure to support a government contract win, we recommend that you do not sign up for this workshop.
Note Our Policies: No refunds issued for workshops not attended. Walk-ins are accepted in our Montgomery county location (credit cards payment only). Women and men are invited to attend our training workshops.
