Laura Gutierrez is the Director of Small Business and Community Development at the Comptroller of Maryland and the MBE/VSBE/SBR liaison for the agency. She advocates for small and minority owned businesses, and reviews at internal processes to develop programmatic and policy initiatives to support small business and community development, as well as helping businesses navigate state resources, and find new pathways for local businesses to grow and prosper in Maryland.
