Demystifying the Corporate Transparency Act for Your Small Business [Webinar]

March 21 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

The Corporate Transparency Act, enacted in 2021, aims to help prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption, tax fraud, and other illicit activity. Under the Act, many businesses are required to begin reporting beneficial ownership information (BOI) to the U.S. Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

To understand if your entity is required to report, what beneficial ownership means, timelines for reporting, and more, join Christine Lopez Kulumani, Managing Attorney at the DC Bar Pro Bono Center, for this webinar with the Maryland Women’s Business Center and SBA Washington Metropolitan Area District Office.
