Join the Maryland Women’s Business Center, Women’s Business Center at Community Business Partnership, and Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Center for a colalborative webinar deciphering the new Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) certification requirements.

Recently the SBA changed the process for qualifying for WOSB and EDWOSB.  There is a lot of misinformation and lack of clarity about these changes that may impact your status as a WOSB/EDWOSB.  This webinar will clear up some of the confusion and help guide you on how to become a certified WOSB/EDWOSB. Some topics covered will be:

  • How do I use 3rd party certification?
  • Where do I apply for certification?
  • What are the important deadlines for certification?
  • How long am I self certified?
